Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026 · Applies to Protect PRO (nelqro.com) and the Chrome extension
This Privacy Policy explains what Protect PRO (“we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Protect PRO is a Chrome extension and website that help reduce online tracking.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers visitors to nelqro.com and users of the Protect PRO Chrome extension (including developer / sideload installs distributed from this site).
2. What the extension does on your device
Most protection happens locally in Chrome using declarative network rules. Tracker-matching requests can be blocked in the browser without sending the contents of the pages you visit to us.
- Block lists and allow exceptions shipped with the extension
- Per-site pause state stored in Chrome local storage on your device
- On-device counters for blocked trackers shown in the popup
3. Data we may process
Depending on which features are active, Protect PRO may process:
-
Install / attribution identifiers — a randomly
generated install ID and a click / campaign ID derived from install
parameters (for example
click_idorcid). - Extension lifecycle signals — install / update / uninstall related events, extension version, and timestamps.
- Optional shared domains — if you choose to share a domain through the on-page prompt (for improving coverage where no trackers were detected), that hostname may be sent to our feedback endpoint.
- Search redirect analytics (when enabled) — if search redirect reporting is enabled in the extension, we may receive the full Google search query text, source / destination engine labels, destination URL, and related consent / rule metadata when a redirect occurs.
- Website logs — standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) may be recorded by the host when you visit nelqro.com or download the package.
4. Where data is sent
Extension analytics and feedback use our telemetry endpoints under
analevent-fvhahf76.manus.space (for example
/api/events, /feedback,
/uninstreason, and redirect-rule sync). The website is
served from nelqro.com.
The extension popup may load fonts from Google Fonts. That is a third-party request from the popup UI and is separate from tracker blocking.
5. Why we process data
- Operate and improve Protect PRO
- Measure installs, retention, and feature usage
- Attribute campaigns when a click / campaign ID is present
- Maintain redirect rules and related product features
- Respond to abuse, security, and reliability issues
- Comply with legal obligations when required
6. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
Where GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — securing and improving the product, fraud / abuse prevention
- Consent — where required for optional telemetry such as search-query redirect reporting
- Contract / requested service — providing the extension features you install and use
7. Retention
Identifiers and event data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or aggregated. Server logs are typically rotated on a shorter operational schedule by the hosting environment. Uninstall of the extension removes local Chrome storage for Protect PRO on that profile; it does not automatically erase server-side records already collected.
8. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers that host our website or analytics endpoints, and when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
9. Children
Protect PRO is not directed to children under 16 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your choices and rights
- Uninstall the extension at any time from
chrome://extensions - Pause protection on specific sites from the popup
- Decline optional domain sharing prompts
- Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. International transfers
Data may be processed on servers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact
